Wachau-Camping Rossatz warmly welcomes you

At our campsite you can enjoy - in all its facets - the unique atmosphere of the
Wachau, which makes this region so worthy of conservation that it has earned the
UNESCO title” World Heritage Site”. The Wachau is indeed nothing more than a 35-
kilometre-long cross valley of the Danube on its 2888-kilometre journey to the Black
Sea, but this landscape ranks with certainty among the most beautiful regions on the
river’s course. This is due on the one hand to the world-renowned monasteries Melk
and Göttweig, the picturesquely situated villages and the numerous castles on either
side of the Danube, and on the other hand very much to the wine, the unique
“Marille” (apricot) and, of course, to the hospitality of the local people.
